Cookies

Protecting your privacy while you are visiting our website is of particular concern to us. Thus, below we provided detailed information about how we handle the collection of personal and non-personal data.

3S SPORT, d.o.o., has the right to use personal and anonymous data, pursuant to the rights of the data subject described below to the extent permitted by law.

This website uses website traffic analytics tools. By analyzing such data, we are able to glean important insights about our users’ requests. These results help us improve the quality of our offer. Every time a new web page or file is opened, the following data set is stored for an indefinite period of time:

  • an anonymized form of the IP address of the requesting computer,
  • the date and time of the request,
  • the name of the page or file you opened,
  • the link from which you accessed the page,
  • the type and version of the browser you are using,
  • the type of operating system you are using.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that stores web settings. Almost every website uses cookie technology. Cookies are placed on your computer when your web browser visits a website for the first time.

The next time the same device visits that website, the cookie, and the relevant saved information are transmitted to the website you are viewing (first-party cookie) or to another website to which the cookie belongs (third-party cookie). By that, the website recognizes that it has already been viewed using that browser, and in many cases, it will then customize the displayed content.

Some cookies are extremely useful as they improve the user experience when you return to a website that you have already visited several times before. Provided you are using the same end device and the same browser as on previous visits, cookies remember your preferences when you use a page and adapt what is offered so that it is more relevant to your personal interests and requirements.

Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browsing session ("session cookies"). However, we also use cookies that remain on your hard drive even after your browsing session has ended. This improves the user experience when you revisit the website by personalizing it and also optimizes the page loading time.

2. Cookie settings on this website

a. Cookies without consent

Strictly necessary cookies provide basic functions without which the site does not work as intended. These cookies are used exclusively by us and are therefore referred to as “first-party cookies". They are only stored on your computer for the duration of the browser session.

Strictly necessary cookies: For logging in, we use “session cookies”. Without this cookie, users are not able to log in as the login function is not provided. In addition, such cookies may support the switching from http to https, e.g., when changing the website, in order to meet the increased safety and security requirements regarding data transmission. No consent is required for the use of strictly necessary cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be deactivated via a function of this website. However, you can deactivate them at any time in the browser you are using.

b. First-party cookies with consent

Cookies that as per the legal definition are not strictly necessary for using the website, but nevertheless have important features. Without such cookies, features that make browsing our website more convenient, i.e. pre-filled forms, are no longer available. Added settings, e.g., language selection, cannot be saved and must therefore be re-checked on every web page. Furthermore, we no longer have the option of showing you personalized offers.

c. Third-party cookies with consent

This website incorporates third-party content. Third parties may place cookies that inform them that you have visited our website. For more information about the use of these cookies, please visit the websites of the relevant third-party providers.

_ga - Google Analytics cookie. This cookie is used to distinguish between users and sessions. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics. It gets deleted 2 years after being placed.

_gat - Google Analytics cookie. This cookie limits the number of requests sent to Google Analytics. The cookie does not contain any information about the user. It gets deleted 10 minutes after placement.

Facebook:

This website uses Facebook's pixel tags, specifically Facebook Conversion Tracking Pixel, to track users' activities after seeing or clicking on an ad on Facebook. This allows us to track the performance of Facebook ad posts for advertising purposes.

It is also used for retargeting. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e., we are unable to infer the identity of the user. However, the data from Facebook is stored and processed so that it can be associated with the corresponding user profile and we can use this Facebook data for our own advertising purposes, in line with Facebook's Data Policy(https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

Here you can edit how Facebook personalizes the ads you get to see:

You can deactivate third-party cookies at any time in the browser you are using.

3. Social media plug-ins

3S SPORT, d.o.o., also uses social media plug-ins (hereinafter referred to as "buttons") such as Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter on the website it operates (bida.si). When you first visit our website, these buttons are deactivated by default, i.e., no data is sent to the respective social network without your intervention. You must activate the buttons by clicking on them before you can start using them. The button will remain active until you deactivate it again or delete your cookies.

Once activated, a direct connection is established with the server of the respective social network. The content of the button is then transferred from the social network directly to your browser and integrated into the website. After activating the button, the respective social network starts collecting data, regardless of whether you interact with the button. If you are logged in to a social network, it may assign your visit to that website to your user account. A social network cannot assign a visit to the website operated by our company unless and until you activate the respective button. If you are on a particular social network but don’t want it to associate the collected data with your saved login data when you visit our website, you must log out before activating the button.

The amount of data that social networks collect through your buttons is not within our control. For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by each social network, as well as your rights in this regard and the settings you can make to protect your privacy, please consult the privacy policy of the relevant social network.

Our websites use plug-ins for Facebook. We use the "Like" and "Share on Facebook" buttons for this. The product is provided by the US-based company Facebook Inc. (1601S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA). When you visit one of our websites that uses this plug-in, no connection to this company is made. A connection is established only after you give your explicit consent, which you are asked for when you click on the relevant button. For more information about the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard, and the settings options for protecting your privacy, please consult Facebook's privacy policy on the website:
